Film Protection Types & Information
3M Scotchgard Paint Protection Film
“Scotchgard™ Paint Protection Film (PPF) is a durable, high-grade, colorless urethane film that is applied to the high-impact areas of your vehicle — hood, bumper, mirrors and door edges – that take the brunt of damaging road debris. This virtually invisible barrier protects against flying road debris, abrasion and weathering also resists yellowing in sunlight. If resale value is important to you, this is a great way to help keep your car's exterior looking like new. PPF is trusted by NASCAR® to keep race cars looking their best.”

This film is excellent for use on daily driver vehicles. When you need a film to hold up against hours of torment on the road, choose 3M. If this film is ever scratched while protecting your vehicle, you can make it look like new again by buffing the scratch away with a soft cloth and a little rubbing alcohol. It’s truly resilient!
VentureShield Film
VentureShield Paint Protection Film is an eight mil thick (.008") clear urethane film. The film is optically clear and guaranteed not to yellow or crack due to UV exposure.
“The film is approved by major automotive manufacturers such as Ferrari, GM, Ford and Nissan to withstand freezing temperatures, extreme heat, acidic oils and gasoline, along with attacks by stones and other abrasive elements.” -Source: http://invisiblepatterns.com/products.php
This film is slightly easier to install than other films because it has a little more stretch to it. We recommend this film for high end, garage kept vehicles.
Avery Nano Fusion Film
Nano-Fusion Protection™ from Avery Dennison is a patent pending film technology that makes existing topcoats obsolete. A topcoat is a layer of generally stiffer material laminated to a flexible urethane film base. Current topcoats make PPFs more difficult to install and weather poorly over time. There can be separation at the boundary, causing crazing and stress cracking, which really affects the appearance. Nano-Fusion Technology infuses the urethane film with clear penetrating protection. Nano-Fusion PPF is more conformable, easier to install, retains its gloss, and resists yellowing and cracking better than other films on the market. - Source: http://www.nanofusionfilm.com/
We have been truly amazed by this new film. The new Avery Nano Fusion film is the clearest film available. It almost disappears on the vehicle when installed. This film is also the easiest to install. We also noticed it seems to resist scratching which can plague other film materials.
